Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Capri Swim and third party shopping platforms.


By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Throughout this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Capri Swim.
“You” and “your” refer to the customer.


1. Product Information & Care

  • Product colours may vary slightly from images shown online due to lighting and screen differences.
  • Print placement may differ between garments. This includes both main panels and tie details.
  • Not all styles are restocked. Please choose sizes carefully, as exchanges may not be possible if items sell out.

Garment Care & Responsibility

  • Lighter fabrics may stain when in contact with fake tan, makeup, or similar products.
  • Damage caused by wear and tear, chlorine, sunscreen, tanning oils, rough surfaces, or incorrect washing is not considered a fault.

Faults

  • Refunds or replacements are only issued where a confirmed manufacturing fault is identified.

2. Returns Policy

We accept returns for store credit or exchange only (no refunds unless faulty).

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • No signs of wear (including perfume, odour, marks, or damage)
  • All original tags and hygiene stickers must be intact
  • In original packaging
  • Items must be tried on with underwear

Timeframe

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase
  • After a return is initiated, you have 7 days to lodge your return at your local post service. 

Important Notes

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (unless faulty)
  • A tracking number must be provided — we are not liable for lost returns
  • Returns received outside the timeframe will not be accepted
  • Non-compliant returns will be sent back at the customer’s expense

Processing Times

  • Returns are processed within 3-4 business days after they are delivered to our warehouse
  • During busy periods, this may take up to 5 business days

3. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for size changes only.

Conditions

  • Items must meet all return eligibility requirements
  • Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase

Fees

  • Australia: $15 AUD (includes return label + reshipment)
  • International: return fees paid by customer, reshipment fees for the new item will be charged to the customer and depends on your location.

Stock Availability

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability
  • If your requested size is unavailable, a store credit will be issued

Sale Items

  • Sale items may be exchanged for a different size (if available)

4. Faulty Items

  • All items are quality checked prior to dispatch
  • If you believe your item is faulty, contact us at hello@capriiswim.com with photos and details
  • Items must be returned for assessment before resolution
  • If confirmed faulty, we will provide a refund or replacement
  • A prepaid return label will be provided where applicable

5. Refunds & Store Credit

  • Refunds are only issued for confirmed faulty items
  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method
  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process

Store Credit

  • Issued for all standard returns
  • Valid for 3 years from issue date
  • Excludes original shipping costs
  • Excludes duties and taxes (for US customers)

Additional Conditions

  • Sale purchases are credited at the discounted value paid
  • Store credit cannot be reissued with original promotional discounts

6. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • All orders are final once placed
  • We cannot guarantee changes to orders or shipping details after checkout
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched

If you wish to cancel after dispatch, you must follow the return process.
Capri Swim reserves the right to approve or deny cancellation requests.


7. Discounts & Promotions

  • Discount codes cannot be applied after purchase
  • Discounts do not apply to shipping costs
  • Certain items may be excluded from promotions
  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated

Welcome Discounts

  • Not valid on sale or pre-order items
  • Cannot be used during major sale periods (e.g. Black Friday)

8. Gift With Purchase

If your order included a free gift:

  • The gift must be returned if your return causes your order to fall below the eligibility threshold
  • Gift must be unused and in original condition

9. Shipping & Delivery

Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 1 business day

Delivery

  • Delivery times vary between 1–28 days depending on location and shipping method
  • Timeframes provided are estimates only

Liability

  • Once your order is dispatched, delivery is handled by the carrier (e.g. Australia Post)
  • Capri Swim is not responsible for carrier delays or errors

Lost or Delayed Parcels

  • Customers must lodge enquiries directly with the carrier
  • We will assist where possible but are not liable for carrier issues

Returned to Sender

  • If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address or being unclaimed, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs
  • No refunds will be issued in these cases unless the error was ours

Risk

  • Risk transfers to the customer once delivery is confirmed

10. Duties & Taxes

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes (excluding Australia and the U.S. where applicable)
  • If duties are unpaid and the parcel is returned, a store credit (not refund) will be issued

11. Website Use & Privacy

  • Information entered at checkout may be stored even if the purchase is not completed
  • Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling

12. Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where required, we will provide remedies in accordance with these laws.
